When you’ve got a project in mind, the next step is to think about your voice over. Do you have a script already written out? Would you prefer a male or female voiceover? What accent do you need them to have?
All these little details go into making the project a success, so it’s important to think about your vision. Once you have some ideas in mind, it’s wise to also think about:
Do they sound like your target audience?
Would your audience respond positively to their voice?
Are you prepared to give honest feedback and notes so you can get it right?
When you need to find a voiceover artist, it’s important to look for certain qualities such as:
Experience- don’t be afraid to ask about their past work and ask for examples
Pacing and Rhythm - can they keep up a good pace whilst honouring the rhythm of the script to come across clearly?
Flexibility- can they work with your requirements and work to a high standard?
With Nigel Bradshaw by your side, you can guarantee all this and much more. Having a wealth of experience to offer, Nigel would like to hear about your next idea. Email him at bestill@btinternet.com or call him on 07973 432768.
